Bert is a Barketing whiz, but what he really brings is a reminder to take breaks! We are all passionate about our work and at the same time we need to go for walks. Bert is a real example of work-life balance. When not working on Barketing, he loves hanging out in any water, travelling, hiking, and sleeping.

Elena is a public health leader, consultant, and community birth doula whose work has always centered on one core belief: that real impact means walking alongside people through pivotal moments. She’s passionate about bridging the personal and the systemic, and offers heart-centered advocacy and support. Elena loves being a mother, a partner, a hiker, a community-builder, and a cook.

Jared is a web developer, photographer, and videographer based in Beaverton, Oregon. An avid art-lover, Jared is passionate about nonprofit organizations and grassroots-level change. He spends his days as a web and analytics manager at a local nonprofit theatre company and obsessively re-reading his favorite books over and over again.

Description goes Elizabeth "Liz" Peck (she/her/hers), MPP, is the Founder and Principal of EP Strategies, LLC, a woman-owned small business that centers community, equity and racial justice. EP Strategies partners with Foundations, nonprofits and government to leverage public policy, community engagement, operations, and research/evaluation for learning, improvement and action. She has over 20 years of experience spanning public health, reproductive justice, youth, families, and housing instability. With deep nonprofit experience gained across operations, public policy, executive leadership and community engagement roles, Liz understands what it takes to move from goals to practical implementation. Liz developed her ‘on the ground’ sensibility from nearly 15 years working in small, statewide policy advocacy organizations. She laid the foundation for her research and evaluation work—a throughline of her career—as an analyst at the research and consulting firm Abt Global. She lives in Watertown, MA with her husband and two kids, where she relishes morning walks, audiobooks, and mindfulness practices.ere
